CUBO CIGAR Event w/ Founder Ian Reith

Ian Reith of Dapper Cigar Company will be joining us for an event featuring his Cubo Cigars.

 

Great cigars are always enhanced by an equally great story, and that's certainly the case with Cubo. Ian, like most of us, is a Central California guy with a serious passion for cigars. He spent years in Nicaragua working along with Cuban cigar legend Gonzalo Puentas to develop Cubo. What resulted are two outstanding blends: a maduro specifically blended to be lighter in strength than an average maduro so as not to overpower the unique floral notes in the wrapper, and a claro-wrapped line of cigars whose fillers contain a generous amount of Condega ligero making them noticeably more robust and flavorful than your run-of-the-mill Connecticut shade cigar.

 

Cubo Cigars are manufactured in Esteli with tobacco sourced from the famous Oliva family.

 

The company is based not far from us -- in Fresno -- so buying Cubo is not only picking up a great stick but supporting the industry's growing presence in California as well.

 

 

It's also worth noting this event will take place exactly one week before Thanksgiving, so take advantage and make sure you're well stocked up on cigars for the long holiday weekend. See you on November 17th!
